Be a Vet Tech

At the Vet Tech Institute, we love our students as much as we love our animals. We are committed to helping our students succeed during school and after graduation.

We place a high value on making sure our students have plenty of hands-on access to animals during the 18-month program. We firmly believe in the old adage that seeing and doing are two different things. Our students spend time performing real surgeries, managing an on-site kennel and working closely with the animals located in the kennel.

All of our programs are accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA). That ensures that our graduates will be eligible to take the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) upon graduation.

The 18-month program features:

-Hands-on access to on-site kennels housing dogs, cats and rodents

-AVMA-accredited, so graduates are eligible for the VTNE

-Financial aid for those who qualify 

-Career placement services for graduates

-2-month externship to gain real-world experience
